Michael Stanfield, senior vice president of sales for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans, will deliver the keynote address for University of New Orleans Marketing Week. The annual forum hosted by the Department of Management and Marketing takes place Oct. 21-25.
Now in its eighth year, Marketing Week features visits by business leaders from across the region to regularly scheduled classes in the College of Business Administration to share their stories and insights with students.
Stanfield, who has spent 20 years with the Saints and eight with the Pelicans, is responsible for overseeing the consumer and corporate sales efforts for both organizations. Those efforts include directing the sale of season tickets and corporate partnerships, overseeing the teams merchandising, managing food and beverages for both facilities, developing sales executives to the next level in their field and supervising the lease of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and Smoothie King Center luxury suites.
Stanfield’s presentation is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Kirschman Hall Room 129.
